Bought the book and downloaded the MP3 of the album. Makes an excellent combination at a reasonable price. Although it lacks a few of the classics it is still a great combination to get started with.

Jimi is great much like this cd although it doesn't have all along the watchtower and voodoo chile this album does contain purple haze and hey joe aswell as other great tracks worth the price for any hendrix fan. *****

This is Hendrix at his best in the early years, in his own time and that time never ends with Hendrix if you have never heard the god on guitar this is the one to star from Smash Hits is the one for you, if you're a old fan of Hendrix and you want to remember the best of jimmy then get this CD...

The only dissapointments about an otherwise sublime album is the omission of outstanding tracks, "voodoo child (slight return)" and "all along the watch tower" This is a truly fantastic collection of all time classic songs and I urge anyone who loves or even has never heard of Hendrix before to check it out!
