A bit of a change for Biffy but some quality songs here. Some will blow your doors off, some will make you think and (after a few plays) some you will want to hear over and over.Good stuff from the boys here, you never know it might even go mainstream!!

Unbelievably good. Every track is fantastic.Miles better than their previous albums. They've really hit their peak now. What a group!

I will keep this short. I heard 'captain' and 'many of horrors' on a local rock radio station and bought this album not knowing anything about the band. I think it is the most consistantly great track album I have bought for a long time, I love it and would tell others to but it.

I will now be looking at their other material. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

I am lucky to have Biffy in my life, they've been there in the good times and the bad.

Whilst Blackened Sky is like the tattooed rock chick that you get drunk on Jack Daniels with, you know you'll never get serious coz she's dirty! Vertigo of Bliss is the 1 night stand with the girl whose name you can't remember. It was good but you still want more than she offers.

Infinity Land is like the lady that beguiles you, you find yourself being struck by the sheer beauty and the nuances. This is the deep stuff. Its unparalleled. This is the one to admire - it was the band at the peak of their powers. Seamlessly blending the alternative with the commercial. This album should have made them millions!!

Puzzle leaves you quite cold. This is the post-coital kiss of Infinity Land that is bereft of the magic. The foreplay is however great (Living is a Problem...) but this is not the one to spend the rest of your days with! You do however look back with some degree of fondness in the years to come whilst waiting for the next instalment.

With Only Revolutions, this is the lady you want to settle down with and have children with. You sense the maturity but she does impress you with some standout moments. You're lucky to have them in your life! You'll have some great times together!!

This is a really good album despite the protestations of the Just Boy Brigade. `Mountains' is mesmerising and should be re-released, it would surely go to No 1 with some encouragement. `The Captain' and `Golden Rule' are also worthy of great praise also. So too is `Many of Horrors'. The fact remains that this is an album to treasure because there are loads of very good songs here. `Cloud of Stink' remains the standout track though because Biffy are average when they are mellow but when they cut loose and let rip they are cracking.

So all in all, its all pretty good but its not all life changing. Think about the one that got away (Infinity Land) and go and get it.
