Supply with expected efficiency. Music is 'sans-pareil' and overcomes without effort the borders of its origin. It is universal in its appeal.

I prefer the first CD to the second, where he makes world music. Kora is a great instrument and he is truly fantastic playing it. If people like listening to this and Jazz I would recomend the Kora Jazz Trio.

This is a lovely CD and an excellent introduction to Kora. I particularly enjoyed the collaborations on CD 2. The cover is not very inspiring..looks a bit tatty but who buys a CD for the cover!

Toumani Diabaté once again demonstrates his immense skills here. The first cd is set well within the comfort zone and the tracks are solid. The second cd is more of a surprise and the rlationships with other musical styles very revealing. There is an amazing fit with Danny Thompson's bass - for any Danny Thompson fans these tracks alone are worth buying the set for
