It is a great album, only one or two tracks that aren't very good.
Fav tracks; Poprocks & Coke & Brain Stew
Spider Monkey
'International superhits', (like most bands best of's), is probably the best place to start with Green Day if you're new to their music and want to hear more. You get a pretty good selection of their hits, as well as some more obscure stuff. At 21 tracks, this album has plenty to offer and I defy anyone to put on 'Basket Case' or 'When I Come Around' and not crack into a big grin. This album showcases what a good rock band should be, simple, loud and fun. You can't ask for much more than that. Well worth a try.

I already had American Idiot and after going the the concert at the Bowl in 2005 i wanted to see wat the rest of their songs were like, i saw the album going cheap and decided to grab it, it didnt dissapoint. The songs are all individual and exciting to listen to, Basket case and Longview are huge amounts of fun and have catchy sounding rifts.

Green Day made their name with these songs and it isnt hard to see why. one listen and your hooked.

This a truly great collection of songs from a truly legendary band if you are into fun lively music, buy this album and laugh.

A very enjoyable party cd; bung it in the player and it does the headbanging job.
What can I say? It's a Greatest Hits, so chances are, if you're considering buying it, it's because you already like Green Day. As a belated introduction to the band, it's invaluable. Some weaker tracks have been included, and neither of the two new tracks (the openers) make much of an impact. But the likes of Longview, Basket Case, Brain Stew, Hitchin' a Ride and Good Riddance make up for it. Definately one for the collection, and perhaps an essential purchase for those who've only just started listening to Billie Joe, Mike and Tre after the success of American Idiot.
One thing though... why did one reviewer rate this album if he hates the band so much???
