I was having trouble with my wired ethernet connection, so I thought I'd go wireless until I sorted it out. Not sure why I selected this particular USB wirelsss adaptor - there are cheaper alternatives - but it had all good reviews.
Simple instructions - install software, plug in, open application, type password and bingo, I was online! Within 10 minutes of opening the box!
I am using Windows XP, so it works with older operating systems.
Recommended.

Got this today, i had a very unstable connection with my router, my pc is directly a floor above it. I think my network card is either very bad or broke. I set this up which took about 5 minutes, all you need to do is plug it in, install the software which automatically picks up the signel of all routers it can, find yours and enter the passwork. I now have a 5 bar connection constantly, no point in buying anything more expensive, this is all you need.

I got fed up of our old belkin usb stick as it kept dropping the signal and had unreliable software. This installed and ran immediately with no bother. The software works and there is a good signal strength indicator that allows you to maximise the signal by moving the usb stick.
We don't have an N network so I haven't been able to try that part out but it works fine for b/g (we are using XP)

I've never written an online review before, but considering how good this item is, I felt compelled to do so. I am writing this review having plugged this USB adapter into the back of my Windows 7 PC around 6 minutes ago. Windows found it straight away, installed the drivers, I entered my router's key and there you go. I've used many wireless USB's in my time and this by far is the easiest to use (hands down). No lie, from plugging in to getting online is about 30 seconds - depending on how long it takes you to type the key code. I can't speak for Windows XP and below as I don't have one here to try.
If you're looking for a great, cheap and easy to install wireless usb, and you are using Windows 7 (but only because I can't speak for Windows XP and below) then look no further. Well done Zoom!!

I have a laptop which I cannot use in every room in my house due to very thick walls. Our broadband reception is good near the router but fails to pick up the internet else where. Now I have purchased the Zoom4411 wireless adapter, what a difference this little piece of equipment has made, I now receive internet broadband all over the house. I throughly recommend any one with the same problems to invest in this product
