As always, Sennheiser proves you can still get value for money. I bought these to replace my old (7 year old and used daily) headphones. They feel very well made, have great sound quality for what I use them for (listening to the TV and music) and are worth every penny. Also worth bearing in mind that Sennheiser are one of the few companies that give a minimum 2 year guarantee on their headphones - whether you're spending under £20 (as I did) or over £200. If you're looking for good-priced, well-made, comfortable headphones with rich sound, give these a try.

Where do I begin?
Purchased these for £29.99 today at a store in Central London today (Amazon was just a little more expensive) and everything about it was absolutely amazing. I kept hugging these headphones because after reading endless reviews, watching hundreds of unboxings and viewing thousands of audiophile websites I knew these were the perfect pair for a budget and guess what.. They are WORTH it!
Price - For Sennheisers, these are a bargain, you could go for the 201's but whats more important? A few more quid or bucks or excellent sound quality.
Build - I mean it looks pro, absolutely does. Im doubting the adjustable straps on the side, seem flimsy and fragile. But im just rough anyways.
Sound - Gosh, well out of the box the sound was great. Not that much bass, and the volume sounded low but im in the middle of a burn-in and whilst listening to them I can just tell theyre going to be amazing! The bass quality are immense, I suggest you search 'Ultimate Bass Test' on youtube and play these through your 'phones, you'll love em.
All I can say is, these are an absolutely amazing pair of headphones, work like top quality Grados or Beats just for £1000's cheaper.
I recommend EVERYONE to buy these. They are the perfect pair.

I remember spending a while searching through all the earphones I could find for sale on the net and, ultimatley, i ended up getting these. Some of the reveiws on here are misleading... They are not 'flimsy' and the wires are attatched as well as anyone would expect them to be, I have also 'half' stepped on them a few times and they are still in one piece! The lead is quite long, and gives you enough slack to turn around, or sit away from the screen, but the supplied wire winder is quite heavy and clumbersome so i opt to wrap the wire around the headphones themselves which is easy as the step in the arm design is in just the right place!! So they are a decent looking, and sturdy pair of 'at home' earphones.. Unfortunatly im not to pleased with the sound quality, it all sounds slightly tinny to me, but i do produce beats and i have been in contact with some top end models that are smooth as a bee, but these are not quite up to scratch. They tend to drop out other sound ranges when low or heavy bass is played, but general music listeners will probably love them. Just if like me you make music spend a few more quid on some better models. The comfort factor is ok, my ears fit in the cushions, but the cushions could be softer as after a few hours you find yourself adjusting them, and I can not say any positives about noise reduction, they quite simply do not reduce outside noise, unless turned up very loud of course, and you can hear quite a lot sitting next to someone with these on. All in all i would say they are a cheap end low budget version being sold with the quality Sennheiser brand. Good for most.. if your picky like me choose another pair!

I bought these headphones for use with my computer and Sony mp3 player. This product has exceeded expectations in both! I know Sennheiser have an excellent reputation and I was very happy with some CX400 in ear headphones which I have bought before and would also highly reccomend. My PC speakers had broken and these are an excellent solution due to the high volume household I live in.
I wouldn't say they are as noise cancelling as in ear headphones but they are very good, and very clear at medium volumes on loud buses etc. The sound quality is excellent, plenty of volume, bass and very clear even at high volumes. These are far superior in my opinion to similarly priced Skullcandys (for posers really) and even my friends Wesc headphones which are also very good. Although I have never had any high priced headphones to compare them to, I would say these are incredible for the price.
Works nicely with mp3 players, although the wire is a bit cumbersome. Grateful for wire length though when using them for gaming. Used them on Call of Duty MW2 on my PS3 (running through a decent amp) and the quality was great even though it was only stereo. Good to hear footsteps and enemies reload - yes it is that clear! Work great on PC also even with bad sound card. Not tried it on DJ decks but I intend to and look forward to it as this is the models intended purpose!
Doesn't look aesthetically great - could have been jazzed up a bit but they are headphones, I don't mind they just look less nickable. Comfort is also great I get pain after a while because I have large sticky out ears but comfort is better than any other headphone so this is my fault and pain is only minor!
Top product, keep it up Sennheiser! Great price and speedy delivery. Could not have possibly asked for much more.

For the first couple of days I used these headphones I was impressed with the sound quality, and I like the design of the headphones, they're very light and comfortable, good noise isolation etc.
After less than 24 hours of listening I experienced deterioration in sound quality and after using them for about two weeks they were worse than iPod earphones. I can't think of anything I've done that could have caused this deterioration, though I had been listening to tracks pretty loud and quite a lot of the music is heavily layered, lots or reverb and some stuff has quite intense drums but nothing these headphones shouldn't've been able to handle.
It's surprising considering the other reviewers' experience and I really enjoyed listening to music on them the first couple of days. Now I just get distracted by what sounds like static and drumming just sounds like indistinct noise. Even subdued piano evokes feedback on them. Tempted to buy another pair and hope they don't deteriorate in the same way.
