I was looking for a sound system that included a CD player, ipod dock and DAB radio for a long time and did quite a bit of research before purchasing one. I'd been told that BOSE systems were amazing, but I didn't really want to spend that much. I came across this system on amazon, and decided to go with the good reviews and purchase it. I absolutely love it - it does everything I want and more, looks good and sounds amazing for the size of it! I've not experienced a Bose myself, but I was alot happier with the price of the Roberts system and for me, it's excellent.

The box was easy to setup and use and the sound quality is very good. But I was very disappointed with the poor quality of the remote(buttons too close and small). Could have done with some more controls on the box

Very nice system, with good sound (certainly good enough for the likes of me!). The only drawback is the remote, with its little rubbery buttons: it is frustratingly unresponsive at times, leading me to pound those little rubber buttons in an effort to get it to change iPod menu. (The batteries are fresh so its not them) If not for that, I would give this 4 stars for sure.

We love this music System - we had a Bose Wave for years and we much prefer this - it sounds great and looks great too (shiny black)- we tried to find it in the shops to have a look at it before we bought it and couldn't find it anywhere so we just took the plunge and bought it - we weren't disappointed. Love it a lot.

Overall, I am very pleased with this item. The sound is terrific for such a small box. Great bass and stereo imaging. In my opinion this is on a par with equivalent Bose equipment but less than half the price. DAB reception is excellent. I chose to use the 'pigtail' aerial as it suited the location of the box better. Removal of the telescopic aerial was easy with the spanner provided - the wire aerial just plugs into the socket that this came from. It was fairly difficult to differentiate the 7 iPod dock inserts that are supplied but I eventually picked one that seems to do the job OK. This was for a previous generation Nano. iPod performance was most impressive. Navigating the menu system was OK although the remote control is a seriously weak link. Buttons are tiny and the layout is bizarre to say the least. It is virtually impossible to do anything without the remote control. All in all a fantastic buy .... just a shame about the remote control. This isn't the only item I have bought that was let down by the remote. I have an excellent Humax PVR that is similarly blighted. These companies obviously outsource the design of these to somewhere obscure where they can't even spell the word ergonomics!!
I'm still going to buy another of these for the kitchen though!!
