I bought this docking station for my daughter's birthday. She absolutely loved this docking station as it was very compact and the sound quality is very good. I would recommend this product

This is a great little speaker dock for those times when I don't want to wear headphones. I like to listen to audiobooks or music whilst ironing etc. and trailing wires get in the way, so this is the perfect solution. It also recharges my ipod touch at the same time so even better. I think the volume is fine for an average sized room and the sound quality, given the size of the speakers, is quite good. I am pleased with this purchase and have had no problems using it.

I bought this because I did not have a lot of money to spend on speakers and these were very reasonably priced. Sound quality is reasonable but the 2 3 watts are a little weak. I travel around a lot and these were great because they are light and compact, with two plug heads so there is no need for an adaptor when travelling to Europe. However after taking it with me a few places, the power cable began to become very loose and repeatedly fall out, cutting out the sound and being very annoying to plug back in. There is also no way of turning it sideways (to watch movies etc.)without just holding the entire device that way. If you do this, the ipod is not held securely enough in the dock and comes out slightly, enough for the ipod to think it has been disconnected and annoyingly freeze the video or music. The power cable broke completely after about a month, it will no longer go into the back of the dock because the pin inside the socket has snapped off, meaning power cannot get through. It does go surprisingly loud for such a small speaker, but the music loses its clarity and heavy interference kicks in. The bass is also very weak. There is also no display to show what level the volume is at. It is very flimsy to the touch and feels worryingly breakable, especially at the hinge between the speakers at the docking area. There shouldn't be a real problem using this for baroque, classical or romantic music, or in fact most genres. The sound (at a low to medium volume) is crisp and clear and enjoyable for such styles. But I do not recommend this for rock or metal of any kind. The speakers simply cannot handle it. The same goes for a lot of hip-hop, reggae, drum 'n' bass, dance, ballads and opera.

I bought this to take away on holiday and wanted a speaker system that wasn't too bulky to pack in my case, but could still pack a punch in the volume department (particularly when running on batteries!). This fits both perfectly. I must admit I was expecting it to sound a bit 'tinny' because of it's size, but it doesn't.

I use it with an Ipod Touch (2nd gen)and initially docked it using the dock adapter that came with the Touch (as per the instructions), but the connection wasn't good and the sound was only coming out of the Touch. After I removed the adapter and docked the Touch directly to the speaker it worked perfectly.

I would definitely recommend this product if you're wanting a compact speaker system that doesn't compromise on sound quality.

I wanted speakers to take on holiday that would charge my Ipod Classic while it played, and these speakers do the job perfectly. Great sound & compact enough for packing in suitcase. Brilliant! :)
