Thought this was a good product upon initial use and the subsequent few months' use it worked well, but suddenly the left speaker's output stopped. As it is sealed assembly unit with no visible screws or the like it cannot be fixed easily and not worth enough to send for repairs.

had this for over 1 yr now and is a must have item for any bluetooth device sound is pretty good for its size and looks great and also can be used as a handsfree speaker for phone and pc on msn n skype as it has mic on it as long as you have got bluetooth on your pc/laptop that is, battery lasts for 8 hrs and is in built into device, and its always remembers the devices that its paired with so well worth the money

Short review- If you're looking for a compact, easy, stylish blue tooth speaker it doesn't get much better than this.
Long review- After a surprisingly short period between ordering this device and receiving it through the post I opened it with great anticipation. It linked quickly and easily to my toca light. I first thought was that the sound was great. I then realised the sound was only coming out of one end of the device. Gutted. I wasn't sure if it the problem was the b-tube or me. I tried connecting using the included inline lead for my MP3 player and the problem continued. I tried emailing the manufacturer and their initial response was less than helpful. After a second email they took the time to respond properly and confirmed the device was faulty. During this time of correspondence it tried contacting the seller to get some technical support. If you have technical problems don't bother calling the seller. When I described the problem with my "bluetooth" device their tech guy said it sounded like a problem with the lead. THE LEAD!?! IT'S BLUETOOTH! After I stopped laughing I griited my teeth and packaged it back up in preparation to send it back.
A friend at work was so impressed with even the faulty device I ordered a second b tube. Just received it and hot damn it's good. The sound quality is better than what you would expect for a device this size. It sounds like a mid range quality PC speaker. Not a lot of bass but a hefty whack of volume. Now to that stats...
Stats
Complexity - 10% more complicated than a corkscrew, 63% less complicated than a DVD player.
Ideal for the techy music geek who likes tunes on the move.
Not ideal for the granny who asks "What does this button do?" three seconds before the TV explodes.
Portability - Easily carried in a bag as it comes with a velvet style carry case. Not ideal for carrying in your trouser pocket unless you're trying to mislead and impress the ladies at the same time.
What I'm doing with it - Fitting it to the cross bar on my mountain bike with velcro so I can terrorise the local wildlife as I belt down quiet country lanes.
What I'm not doing with it - Taking it in the shower. Lack of waterproofness means SOAD does not mix well with SOAP.
Whaty I'd like to see on the next generation - A little more ruggedness and the ability to connect multiple b tubes to my phone at the same time. Yummy.

This gadget is fantastic, whether you're at a barbecue, sitting in a pub garden or just relaxing at home, the B-Tube does everything you could possibly want from a Bluetooth speaker. The sound is clear, volume can be quite loud and doesn't lose any clarity.
I've taken mine to both BBQ's and used it in a pub garden, and what better a review can you get than almost all of my friends have either ordered one or intend to...what more can I say...if you don't have one, get one!!

I have to manually connect it to the iphone everytime. pl check this out before you buy.otherwise it is handy. I could not connect it to my sony z series laptop.
