Although these earphones are not the cheapest apple ones, they are the ones to buy. The mic works with my iPod touch 2G and the sound quality is just as expected from apple. They are genuine apple earphones.

They are a decent enough build quality and OK sound. I have a 32GB 2nd Gen iPod Touch (MB533BT) and the remote volume controls work fine but the Mic doesn't work at all. I have tried it in Skype 2.1.1 running OS 4.0.2 (not jail broken) and in the iPod voice memo and no audio at all from the mic. Will be sending them back.

Bought these earphones due to the great reviews on Amazon, and I'm delighted to say that everyone was right - fast delivery as they arrived within 2 or 3 days, and good bass earphones with great clarity. If you'e looking for a pair of earphones, look no further and get these!

These are the real Apple deal headphones - boxed and all. We tend to go thru these headphones as we use them for sport and the sweat eventually breaks the inline remote (despite wrapping it in cling film). These were almost half the price and delivered to my door in only 1 day. Can't get better than that - unless Apple do ones that are not affected by sweat :-)

the earphones work fine but if i try to use the mic it says please connect a mic so it doesn't work
